Abacus remained in Thunderbolt GA for a month as various repairs and maintenance were performed.  Most importantly, we found a greenish, clay like coating on the tubes in the heat transfer unit – probably due to improper mixing types of coolant.  Once cleaned, we have had no engine overheating issues.    We moved the boat to Dataw Island Marina in April.  We have enjoyed various day voyages, accompanied by Steve and Agnes from Ann Arbor and Mike and Karen from Florida.

A new Google map has been created on this blog to track our next trip to Maine.  The previous map was getting cluttered!  We plan to  leave Dataw Island on  June 1, heading for Maine.    Our tennis friends Ben and Karen will join us for the first week or so.  Ollie will have to stay home with Pam but will rejoin us in Annapolis.
